Ez-squeeze is awful

My wife bought the bottle with the ez-squeeze top and I hate it. Takes forever to squeeze the detergent out. Won't buy it again unless you go back to the old top.

I bought this and I am so glad I did. It seems to last a lot longer. The only thing I don't like is Dawn squeezable with the fresh scent. It's horrible. Go back to the old scent please!

The soap works great but the bottle leaks all over

I love the idea but I bought a bottle 2 weeks ago and it leaks all over the countertop. The soap itself works great as usual, but I definitely disagree with the “No mess” claim.

We always expect your Dawn Ultra EZ-Squeeze to work perfectly, and only release the hand dishwashing soap that we all know and love when adding it to running water. It's possible too much pressure has built up in the bottle; try loosening the cap to release the pressure. Then, re-tighten it back on the bottle. Give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge, or into the sink, for about two seconds. Be sure to store the bottle cap side down, too. This should release the pressure and stop the leaking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on the lower end of the economy and there are cheaper dish soaps, but using anything else is a waste of money .
The usefulness for dawn is unending. The best is how quickly it kills fleas . As a former “problem” pitbull rescuer I’ve used it for just that countless times .
Now for the new bottle. I’m not a fan of corporate America. When I saw this on a tv commercial I figured it was just another cheesy ploy to get people to spend their money, even though I love the soap itself. One day I had no choice but to buy it because all other bottles were sold out. I have to tell you, I love this thing. Not only is it super easy to use and clean , but I actually use less soap because you have much better control and the bottle last longer .
Excellent job dawn soap company .

Great packaging

I love the new easy squeeze packaging. It’s easy to get product out of the bottle, without wasting any product. I love Dawn products and I will continue to use them in my household. I also use dawn products to bathe my dog it is gentle and leaves him smelling great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upside down squeeze bottle

This bottle does not work for somebody who has hand issues like. Rheumatoid arthritis or other issues. I don't have hand issues and this is very difficult for me to squeeze the bottle it takes both of my hands.
And it hurts to squeeze the spot on. I like dawn but I won't buy this kind of bottle squeeze form.
Upside down.
You need to go back to the original bottle which was easy To use.
Did you think of your consumer when you created this bottle? It's not just rheumatoid arthritis.
But others who have Conditions that affect their hands with limited ability to squeeze a bottle.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts regarding your recently purchased Dawn Ultra Dish Dish Soap, with Original Scent in the EZ-Squeeze Bottle. We're so sorry to learn you're having these difficulties, as this style of bottle was specifically made for one-handed dosing, allowing those with hand difficulties to easily add soap to the sink. Store it with the cap down between uses, to keep pressure from building up inside the bottle. It’s possible that dried product accumulated around the cap is also a factor. Try taking off the cap, rinse it, then dry it off. After screwing the cap back on, give the bottle a big squeeze into the sink or onto a sponge. This should get you back to easy squeezing with your EZ-Squeeze Bottle. If you'd like further assistance, please give us a call any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. The bottle has SEVERELY DAMAGED my thumb joint!

Yeah it's Dawn, I've used it for decades. But this bottle is the WORST INVENTION!! My bottle is incredibly hard to squeeze anything out, so bad that it actually feels like it tore or damaged a tendon or something in at the base of my thumb from having to squeeze it so hard!!!! I've been in TERRIBLE pain for a month from this stupid bottle design!! I've had to keep my thumb wrapped in a bandage to keep it somewhat immobile for it to heal but it kept unwrapping so I purchased arthritis gloves and it seems to be helping asking with wrapping my hand in a heating pad sometimes to help with the pain PLUS using a massager and voltaren gel!!! I can't grip anything with m my right hand because it causes EXTREME PAIN in my joint of my thumb, I almost scream it hurts so bad!!! I can't cook, wash dishes, or use it almost at all!! I tried cutting the plastic with the tip of a pointed knife to make it easier to squeeze because my hand/thumb had started hurting a bit but it didn't work. Just after that is when I was trying to do dishes and had to squeeze it hard to get the liquid out and felt something at my thumb joint overstress or tear. That was a month ago and I'm still having to wear the arthritis compression glove 24/7!! If I don't it starts to hurt worse again, it's almost unbearable at times. My daughter bought this to but her bottle isn't anywhere near as difficult to squeeze the dishwashing liquid out. This is UNREAL!! All this pain I'm going through from apparently a defective bottle!!

I loved this idea when I first saw it and bought it immediately. However, after using it for a few months I’m throwing it out and going back to a regular bottle, I may have to wait 3 seconds longer to get the soap out but it’s better than the EZ squeeze bottle. First, the bottle is really hard to squeeze especially when it is less than half full. Second and most important the top grows black mold because it is moist and sitting on the counter. I have tried 2 bottles now but never again.
