Regarding this update, the first one in over 10 years, we worked with a team of consumers, picking the scent they all preferred most. All Dawn products, including its perfumes, are extensively evaluated for safety and are safe for use as directed. This includes the use of Dawn for emergency first-aid intervention by trained professionals in accidental exposures of animals – including accidental oil contamination of marine wildlife. Dawn is a very effective agent for the removal of oil contamination from fur/feathers, and this emergency intervention by trained personnel is a well-recognized and beneficial medical intervention.
