We're sorry your Dawn Ultra EZ-Squeeze didn't give you sufficient suds, Icacek. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. A lack of suds/bubbles does not mean the product is not cleaning your dishes. Even if there are very few suds, the solution will carry on cleaning the dishes. To increase the amount of bubbles you could try the following.
* Add the dishwashing liquid to the sink before you add the water. * Run your tap at high pressure. * Swish the solution with your hands to get the level of suds you prefer. * Use more dishwashing liquid if you live in an area with hard water. * Use water that's 105 to 115°F (40.56 to 46.11°C).

Bad soap

I have bought a bottle because dawn used to be really good. Now my dishes stay with grease on them.

We'd like to mention that we last updated our Dawn Ultra formula in 2022 to help dissolve both everyday grease and tough, cooked-on messes quickly and easily. There are a couple reasons this may be occurring. The number one cause of reduced effectiveness is hard water because it contains a lot of dissolved minerals. If you live in a hard-water area, or if you’re cleaning very greasy dishes, you may need to use more hand dishwashing liquid. Another reason your product may not be cleaning effectively is the water temperature being too low. Water should be 105 to 115°F (40.56 to 46.11°C). Not happy with

Too hard to remove the covering on the bottom/top of the Dawn Platinum EZ Squeeze...... and the first one I had leaked after I removed the covering.....love the product just not in how to open the covering to use the product.

We have many checks in place to ensure our products get to you at their best, so we appreciate you letting us know that wasn't the case for you. To help avoid leaking in the future, try loosening the cap to release any excess pressure, then re-tightening it back on the bottle. Give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge or into the sink for about 2 seconds. We also recommend rinsing the cap to clear any dried soap that may make the bottle harder to open.

Get rid of the disgusting scent!

The new scent smells TERRIBLE! Like sometimes when I’m doing dishes I get a whiff of poop. And it’s literally the smell of the soap mixed with the water and the food I’m cleaning. It is DISGUSTING! Do us all a favor and go back to the OG smell. No one wants their dishes to smell like poopy flowers!

Terrible new scent

The new scent is horrible. After washing my dishes, I had a migraine from the smell. Disappointed in the new scent. Please go back to the original scent.

Horrible new scent

Been using Dawn for over 20 years. Just bought the “New Clean Scent”. Just opening the flip top on the bottle the scent was so overpowering and sickeningly sweet I couldn’t believe it. The scent is just awful. I’m not alone, there are many reviews out there commenting on the new scent. It is anything but clean. I can’t imagine using this on an animal, the scent is overpowering. I will not be purchasing Dawn in the future.

Considering alternatives because of New Scent

We're so disappointed in the new scent! After using Dawn for decades, we'll need to consider a different dish soap, because we can't stand the new scent. I hope there are enough complaints lodged to bring back the old scent, because Dawn has been our go-to dish detergent for decades!
