Awful Scent

It smells TERRIBLE! It has a lingering smell that is somehow reminiscent of both old lady perfume and harsh chemicals. I bought a bottle not realizing how different the scent would be. It was a mistake! I will not be buying this again.

Nauseating New Scent!

The new scent is HORRIBLE! It’s one of the worst things I’ve ever smelled, and I can’t bear to have it in my kitchen. Please bring back the old original scent. I beg you.

Skin allergies to the new formula

My skin is allergic to the new scent. It feels like a slap in the face after 25 years of buying the same product. And I hate the smell also.

New scent is terrible

The new scent is objectively terrible. The feedback from consumers on this site and other sites is very consistent. Hopefully the company will do the right thing and switch back quickly.

Don’t wash the duck with it…the smell will kill it

I used to always only use dawn dish soap. The new scent is beyond horrible! It is basically pollution!the smell is awful and literally pollutes everything it comes in contact with! Get rid of the duck advertising because the new scent would probably definitely kill any struggling animal that’s trying to get relief from a pollutant like oil! Just like everything else…if it isn’t broke why try to fix it!

This includes the use of Dawn for emergency first-aid intervention by trained professionals in accidental exposures of animals – including accidental oil contamination of marine wildlife. Dawn is a very effective agent for the removal of oil contamination from fur/feathers, and this emergency intervention by trained personnel is a well-recognized and beneficial medical intervention. The Dawn gentle clean works great.
The soap that is.
I hate hate hate the ez squeeze bottle.
Nothing easy about it.It literally hurts both my hands( can't do it one handed) to squeeze it.
I did not buy it my daughter did but Procter and Gamble definitely needs to naked it easier

EZ-SQUEEZE IS NOT EASY!

The new EZ-SQUEEZE NO FLIP NO MESS bottle does not work well when you are filling a sink soap dispenser or a handle sponge. It takes too long to keep squeezing the bottle to get the soap to come out. It is not user friendly. It is too hard for elderly people to squeeze, especially if they have arthritis. I will not buy this type of soap bottle again.
