Bad Scent

Hate! Hate! Hate! New scent. I thought there was something wrong with the bottle I bought and went and bought another. Then, went on and realized the scent has changed. It is awful. Please fix the smell.

The New Scent is Awful

Horrible scent. Dawn has been Dawn for 50+ years. Why change the original scent? I am sensitive to fragrances and am unable to use the new Dawn. Please change it back. This is just like the New Coke fiasco of the 80's.

Horrible New Scent

This new scent is absolutely horrendous. It smells like cheap laundry detergent trying to mask stinky clothes. I don’t want my kitchen to smell like the laundry room. The scent is so overwhelming as soon as you squeeze one drop. The entire kitchen smelled so bad after doing some hand washing after dinner. Why would you change something not in need of change? Our daughter came over for dinner and gave me her bottle because she didn’t like it not knowing I had already thrown my own bottle in the trash. Wasted money in two households. I’ll be purchasing Palmolive for the first time in 25 years. Please bring back the original scent.

What's that horrible smell?

I hate the new scent. I see from skimming the review section I'm not alone. It's pretty aggravating to see the corporate response. Telling people their dishes are worn, basically telling people they aren't washing their dishes correctly? At first I thought, I'll just buy the unscented(when I can find it)....nah I'll just find a new brand. This is the biggest fiasco since the New Coke incident of 1985.

Unfortunate Aroma

I am disappointed with the new "Clean Scent" that has replaced the original. I have been using Dawn for most of my life. I enjoyed that the former offering was very close to scent free. This new offering triggers a headache and the need to wash the smell off of my hands. The soap still works great, however I will be on the hunt for something different.

Horrible new fragrance! ☹️ Why did they change it? The new fragrance gave me an instant headache I knew something was wrong immediately. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I won’t be buying Dawn again until they change it back.
