Can't get the new scent off. Where's QA?

The new clean fresh scent of Dawn is much too strong a won't rinse off of my Tupperware pitchers that I use daily. I like the new no flip squeeze bottle but will rinse with vinegar before refilling with original scent.

New smell = terrible.

I have used Dawn for most of my life. Love the product. I should say, loved. The new scent is so off-putting that I can no longer use it. I don't even know what it's supposed to smell like, but whatever it is, it's bad. And judging by the 100s of other reviews, I am not alone. I highly recommend you revert back to the 'classic, family loved scent'. Please, think of the ducks.

Extensive research and consumer testing goes into our products to create appealing product features. Because preferences and needs can vary from person to person, we offer a variety of Dawn products. If you’re using one of our EZ-Squeeze bottles, and it seems to get harder to dispense after it's been in use awhile, there may be buildup on the opening. To get help remove buildup, we recommend that you rinse the cap with water and dry it off. Because you're. We hope that tip helps! Awful change. Lost a faithful customer

The new scent is awful. Go back to original. My family is highly allergic to new scent and can’t get the smell out if dishes. So gross!!

New Dawn REEKS!

I have exclusively used Dawn Original for decades because it works so well. Besides the awful smell, the NEW Clean Scent liquid does not work as well. The scent really smells bad. There is no other way to describe the scent. The new clean scent doesn't smell clean. It lingers in the air; it lingers on the dishes; it lingers on the skin. The awful smell lasts far too long, and it aggravates my allergies. Your website shows that the scent was tested, but the scent should not have passed. As a former loyal customer of over 30 years, I will now purchase a different brand of dish soap. Please fix this!

The new Dawn scent stinks

I'm having a terrible allergic reaction to the new Dawn scent. Why did they change the scent? This is just an overpowering scent-it causes my eyes to burn, gives me a headache and cough. Please dump it and bring back the old Dawn. I have to change dish soaps now, after all these years.

Awful new scent

Extensive research and consumer testing goes into our products to create appealing features, and our products undergo stringent quality controls to ensure performance and safety. When the soap scent lingers on your dishes, there could be a few potential causes for this happening. Over time, dish soap buildup can accumulate on dishes, especially if they’re not rinsed thoroughly or if too much soap is used. Also, if you have hard water, it can interfere with the effectiveness of the soap and leave behind residue. In cases of hard water, using a water filter may help. As well, it’s important to know that our dish soap is not intended as a long-term (overnight) soaking solution. For best results, add about 2 tablespoons of dish soap to the sink, then add water that’s 105-115°F. Finally, be sure to rinse the dishes thoroughly with clean water.
