[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn has always been my number one go to for tough hard food and grease for dishes. I love how clean and shiny it makes my dishes. I love the newer squeeze bottles and how easy it is to just leave it after you use with no issues from having to close a cap. Dawn has this distinctive scent that isn't too over powering like some dish soaps. I love that this soap is also good and safe for animals and can be used for such when they find themselves in a bit of trouble and need some cleaning up.

Allergy symptom inducing "clean" scent!

I've used Dawn for nearly 25 years. The original sent was pleasant. I have developed an extreme sensitivity to fragrance over the past several years, necessitating the use of a mask when in contact with perfumes and colognes. I was excited to purchase the new EZ Squeeze bottle, but immediately upon opening it, I immediaely got a headache, which is one of the symptoms of my sensitivity. I have always been satisfied with your product in its original formula. Unfortunately, if this is your new original scent, I will no longer be purchasing this product. Hopefully, the free and clear product listed on your website is available fir purchase in my location and works just the same. I'm willing to try that, at least once.

Disgusting New Smell

I have to say the new Smell, I can’t even bring myself to call it scent, is appalling. Why do companies screw up a good thing? This has to be some sort of penny saving move because I doubt somebody said Wow that smells so much better than the original. Now I’m suck with 2 bottles that no one in my house will touch. Thank you Dawn research department. (Sarcasm)

Horrific fragrance

I am very upset. Why change the scent? As soon as I opened this bottle I started to have a severe allergic reaction and had an asthma attack. Since the bottle appeared the same I didn’t notice they changed the scent. Why? After all the years of Dawn being a reliable top brand why would they change the fragrance, especially to this excessively strong obnoxious scent? I couldn’t get the smell out of anything it touched including my hands. I just threw the rag and sponge away. Please don’t use this on any baby duckies or other animals!

As well, a lot of thought goes into the design of our products, and this fragrance change was implemented after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. There's a label/sticker on the front of the bottle will state "New Clean Scent." We'll be sure to share your comments with the rest of our team, and we do recommend that you discontinue use of this particular product, if you haven't already.
