Horrible new fragrance! 😷

Horrible new fragrance! ☹️
Why did they change it? The new fragrance gave me an instant headache I knew something was wrong immediately. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I won’t be buying Dawn again until they change it back.

This was the first scent change for Dawn Original in over 10 years, and it was implemented after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. We'll be sure to share your comments with our team, and we do recommend that you discontinue use of this particular product, if you haven't already. We suggest giving another Dawn version a try, and you may be interested in our Dawn Free & Clear, as it features our lightest scent. We also have our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free available. Please label scents on the bottle.

This has a scent to it and it is terrible. The worst part is the scent isn’t listed on the bottle so you think you are getting the original dawn. I am highly sensitive to smells and the original scent I can tolerate, but this new one gives me an instant headache.
It doesn’t seem to cut the grease as well as the original Dawn.

AWFUL CONTAINER!!

Absolutely awful container!! The so-called EZ Squeeze bottle is maddening & I won't buy it again, as it's too hard to dispense the dish soap. Terrible & frustrating to use!

Extensive research and consumer testing goes into our products to create appealing features and superior cleaning ability. We realize that preferences can vary from person to person, so we also offer a variety of product versions. If you’re using one of our EZ-Squeeze bottles, and it seems to get harder to dispense over time, there may be buildup on the opening. Terrible smell

Horrible new scent. Not good for people with sensitivities, asthma etc. Had to throw it out. After many years of use, Will be switching to a different brand.

It works great, but holy crap the new scent is terrible. My partner has asthma, and the new formula has upset it so bad we've had to stop using Dawn.

Horrible fragrance.

I’ve tried to get used to the new fragrance. I cannot. It’s horrible. After I wash my dishes in this soap and use them for cooking or eating off of them- you can smell it and it makes the food have an off-taste. The original product was 100% better in smell and effectiveness. Please discontinue this horrible scent. Dishes do not need to have a scent.

Dislike new scent

The new scent is overpowering and nauseating. I like this brand because it doesn’t dry my skin compared to the green brand but I don’t think I can continue with this brand.

Ultra EZ-Squeeze is not so easy.

I have been using Dawn dishwashing detergent for over 30 years. I love it. When I saw you had an ultra EZ squeeze container I immediately purchased one. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in it. The bottle is so hard and impossible for me to squeeze. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and because the bottle is so hard, I am unable to squeeze it. Please make it a softer bottle much like the original container so us old people can use it. I love the idea of having the detergent on the sink ready to use. Great idea, just a little tweak.
