Awful new scent

The new scent is awful, I have to rinse my dishes for twice as long to get rid of it now

Extensive research and consumer testing goes into our products to create appealing features, and our products undergo stringent quality controls to ensure performance and safety. When the soap scent lingers on your dishes, there could be a few potential causes for this happening. Over time, dish soap buildup can accumulate on dishes, especially if they’re not rinsed thoroughly or if too much soap is used. Also, if you have hard water, it can interfere with the effectiveness of the soap and leave behind residue. In cases of hard water, using a water filter may help. As well, it’s important to know that our dish soap is not intended as a long-term (overnight) soaking solution. For best results, add about 2 tablespoons of dish soap to the sink, then add water that’s 105-115°F. Finally, be sure to rinse the dishes thoroughly with clean water. Dawn new scent stinks

Now with fresh perfumed chemical scent!

I have always bought Dawn. For years. But, I just bought a refill bottle this week and it smells like chemicals. After I washed the dishes, the dishes smelled like cheap old perfumed chemicals. I had to rinse them all with hot water. My husband accused me of putting Spray 'n Wash everywhere and he didn't believe me when I told him it was the dish soap with the "new fresh scent." It was a huge argument. I will NOT be purchasing any more Dawn and I'm returning this bottle, and possibly getting a new husband.

Horrible "new" smell

The "New Clean Scent" is absolutely HORRENDOUS. Makes dishes smell bad. Why in the world would you change something that works great and people love to a horrible new smell? When can we expect the Dawn soap smell that we are used to return to the stores??

New scent 🤢

I started using Dawn not all that long ago and decided at the time that I'd never go back to any other brand. The way the original blue Dawn cleans and smells was perfection. But now theres a new scent and it has taken everything in me not to throw both bottles I purchased right in the trash. The new scent is horrendous. I don't doubt that it cleans the same as it always has, but I'll never know because I can't stomach the new scent one bit.

smells disgusting

I just used a newly purchased bottle of Dawn “new clean scent” and it smells disgusting! I’m very sensitive to strong scents and I will get headaches. The smell lingers on my hands and I have to wash my hands after washing the dishes. I’ve used Dawn forever and I’m so very disappointed in this scent change. I will definitely return this bottle and purchase some other brand.

Gross scent

Accidental bought this new scent, holy crap it smells bad, get half way threw the dishes and my senses are getting killed. Please do not stop making the non scented version

Horrible new smell

New scent is HORRIBLE!!! Smells like a strong perfume! Ive used Dawn for years but I will be changing my soap because the smell gives me a migraine. So disappointed and hope they bring back the original smell!
