Terrible new scent

The new scent is awful, this used to be a great multipurpose product. As a veterinarian I’m not sure if it is still safe for bathing as we used to for a variety of reasons. Not even sure you should still advertise the duck on the front, as this strong odor is not likely safe.

We're disappointed to hear you aren't enjoying the new scent. While Dawn is safe when used as directed on your dishes, we don't recommend using on pets as it hasn't been tested for this. Although we're proud of Dawn's role over the last 40 years, cleaning up wildlife affected by oil spills, the cleanup is complicated and performed by professionals in bird and wildlife organizations. They understand the delicate balance required to remove the contamination while increasing their chances for survival. The new scent has a slight manure smell to it when used in hot water. Why did they change something that wasn’t broken???

Headache inducing smell!!

Opened the bottle that was labeled with "fresh new scent" banner on front. The smell was truly awful and resulted in a searing headache! How could anyone think this fragrance is good for washing dishes?

BRING BACK ORIGINAL CLEAN SCENT!

The new scent is horrible! It makes me have a headache and makes my skin itch like an allergic reaction. Bring back the old scent, please! If I wanted my house to smell like a chemical reaction gone wrong I’d buy a cheap air freshener from the dollar store.

I have been a Dawn Ultra user for 30 plus years. I have been unable to find my next jug of it, although I have found Dawn now in about 10 different versions with new scents, new power, yada yada. You lost me as a customer. What was wrong with the original Dawn Ultra.

Awful new clean scent!

The new clean sent is awful! It's allergy symptom triggering and headache inducing. I am hopeful that you will bring back the original scent and allow the clean scent to be an option for those who like a fragrance variety. Please bring back the original scent. It's my goto for everything! I've used ut for years!

Unfortunate Aroma

I am disappointed with the new "Clean Scent" that has replaced the original. I have been using Dawn for most of my life. I enjoyed that the former offering was very close to scent free. This new offering triggers a headache and the need to wash the smell off of my hands. The soap still works great, however I will be on the hunt for something different.
