Do you repeat the same job over and over and over? The four sides going up and the crossmembers go on forever. You know it will be boring once you get past the grade level.

Well engineered

This set is well engineered and wonderfully put together, you assemble the tower just as the real one was assembled. At times this set can be repetitive, but once you put the final piece on and see the end result it’s all worth it. It would be a great team build as well.

Not good

Very unstable and time consuming. This sets just not very stable and is poorly constructed. Contemplating torturing myself and fixing the broken arches or just quitting this set all together. I bought hundreds of lego sets in my lifetime and this is by far the most unstable and boring build I've ever done. Don't get this set

Ridiculously repetitive.

I have built dozens of sets including large ones like the Coliseum and the Titanic. I have seen repetitive, and I have seen refreshing, this is the former and then some. Each separate leg is comprised of four separate parts, you can build two parts per bag. There are eight legs in the first two portions, then four more smaller "legs" up top with another four support beams with detail going down the middle. I'm going to let you do the math on that one, but the point is the vast majority of this build is the exact same thing over and over again. I absolutely love Lego and I will continue to purchase more. But I have never had a set this large and repetitive. Some don't care and simply build for the final result but for me the build is the biggest part, and I have put this one down more times than I can count and debated stopping. Which is something I have NEVER done before. I've taken breaks, but I have never debated scraping a build. Breaks your spirit to spend an hour or two or more building just legs and finally build a platform and really get excited thinking it's about to get new and fun just to be hit with a multitude more bags and instructions to build the same legs you just finished building for hours. After the fact, this may be the only set I have ever wanted to stop building.

Missing pieces...

Hard to review with 3 missing pieces now, many bags apart. I'm not having the difficulty with fragility that others have mentioned. However, a missing piece here, which I grabbed from the next bag, then another missing piece which I had no way around led me to go from the midsection to the top hoping I could finish that while waiting for replacements. Didn't get far and yet another missing piece! No way to move on from here, now waiting 7-10 days with my table cluttered and no room to work on my other sets. (also waiting pieces but should be here soon) Unlike the other huge sets I've recently completed - Titanic and Colosseum the "extra" pieces in this set are almost non-existant. That would be fine if they actually shipped with all the needed pieces, but usually a missing piece here and there could be made up from the MANY DOZEN extras in the other sets. No such luck here. (particularly aggravating when the missing pieces are those that number in the hundreds - and not a single extra to be found) As is, with the missing pieces among several bags (so far!) at different levels of construction --- sorry, I can't leave more than a 2. (Lego needs to step up replacement brick speed - if I could get them in 3 or 4 as opposed to 7-10 days it would make a world of difference) And no they don't ship all the way from Denmark ---- not sure why that is the constant reply to missing pieces. (and if they did well that is a disaster of a way to stock pieces when I'd guess the overwhelming majority of customers are in the US)

disappointing build

I loved almost every Lego set I have built over the last 30 years. I was excited to get this set and was extremely disappointed. Yes I expected the repetition build and that was fine. The problem was it fell apart so easy. You can't move it to it's display space because it falls apart way too easy. Unless you build it in the space you plan to showcase it or you glue it together. There's no way to "play" with it. Sorry Lego you really duped a lot of people with this terrible and expensive build.
