Really good… sort of.

Once built, it’s an absolute stunner! The attention to detail is amazing. The building was repetitive and tedious, although it was expected. I’ve built a lot of LEGOs, but this one, while the best looking, was the worst to build. Not to mention, incredibly fragile. All in all, it’s an amazing set… once built.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing set with Quality Control Issues

Great set, but for this price I should not be getting wrong pieces multiple times. So far, bag 9 and 41 have issues, a scannable Mario tile instead of a dark tan plate with 2 studs and a 1x3 dark gray plate instead of a 1x2 dark gray plate with a bar on each side, respectively. LEGO's quality control is slipping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Eiffel Tower pieces don’t hold

This is the third ‘large’ build now where integral pieces that hold structure together just do not hold - very frustrating - the arches that hang upside down about half through the building will not stay together - very frustrated - can’t get myself to use glue but I think that’s the only way to make this work. Star Destroyer and Batmobile were the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Be prepared to be frustrated

As a Lego collector and Eiffel Tower collector, I was excited. This was not a good experience though. The directions could have been better. You go through a hundred steps to go back and build an identical one. The real challenge comes with the second box. Arches do not stay up. One shake and pieces fall off. The arches fell
Apart multiple times while installing. This was a boring build and too frustrating. It seems like the directions were rushed. I thought I would have a great display but when a duster breaks off pieces it is not worth the money.

Looks amazing but not good structurally

Absolutely love this build, looks fantastic. Couple things I don’t like is the repetitive building, and the structure of it (not structured good). The repetitive building was a lot to take in with constant x2-x4 and going up to x64/x48 of certain things. Other wise it was a good building experience. The other thing that has me confused is how the structure of the build was designed. The cross-membering with the posts are not connected to the other post as well as the arches. It feels like the base could collapse at any moment. The third section of cross-membering is the pieces slide down way too easily. It should’ve had the effect of having two clips on posts like the bottom two sections or the bars should’ve connected on the opposite of the clip. Overall it looks really fantastic and the detail is superb but the repetitiveness and the structural integrity are my two concerns.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Decoration Piece

Awesome decoration piece and worth the time spent building it! Just make sure to have a dedicated space predetermined to store it.
Like all 5000+ LEGO Pieces, this is a long and at time tedious journey. I built this piece in the span of 4 different days and spent a good chunk of each day soley focused on the LEGO. Like the Titanic and the Colesseum, the build would get monotonous and repetitive, however, this piece suffered the least amount of boredom.
Highly recommed the build to anyone with the time, money, and space!
Final complaint, would be that though there are 1:1 pictures on angling many the pieces, many of the aesthetic flairs can be too easily moved. This complaint might have more to do with my perfectionist mindset wanting each piece to be perfectly placed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wow! This set is mind-blowingly awesome. While the build is repetitive in parts and may be tricky to display for many given its size, the final product is truly impressive. I recommend this set for LEGO fans that can build it over a couple of weeks and have a place to display it once built. It's my new favorite!
