Looks great once completed, but pretty boring and fast build as there is a ton of repetition to the build. Creative how the sections connect for easy moving around. Not my favorite build, but still a pretty cool look once completed.

Having been to Paris in the past, when I saw that this Lego set was being released, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I knew it probably wouldn't be a very fun build due to the mostly monochromatic set and the repetitive nature of the ironwork, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Let me just say that I was definitely right. This is NOT a fun build by any means. It is VERY repetitive. You basically build three separate sections four times each. Which, just by looking at it, you can clearly see that. Some people might enjoy the repetitive steps, finding it to be somewhat calming, although I was not one of those people. I will admit, however, that when it is all said and done and the model is finally put together, it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! You can't help but stand back and just stare at it. It is definitely a conversation piece and is absolutely huge when fully assembled. So yes, it may be a little boring during the actual build, but in the end it is definitely worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested!

The Lego item for my bucket list

I had a great time building this with my adult children. I found a space to display in my bedroom and enjoy creating different light effects. I repurposed the box to support and display the tower. I have a small home, and I love having this displayed. The instructions were excellent, and it was a great family teamwork activity.

Always wanted to build a big set. Cool seeing the set on display but have more appreciation for it after building. Definitely a show/display piece at home. Just need to have patience as some steps are repetitive. Regardless a great set to build.

honestly this was an extremely fun set. every person who says that the design is faulted is probably bad at Legos as I am 16 and had no problems what so ever. I did have 1 missing piece, but if you think about it 1/10,000 is pretty good. it is a very advanced and repetitive set so new builders shouldn't build it also take it apart into section when you move it as it is heavy

Overall, this set is a great set to get if you are looking to get something to impress others. It sits quite tall, and is a jawdropper for sure. The price is quite high for a set like this, and I feel like the tiny parts that you don't really see contributes to the high price. The build does get quite a bit tedious and repetitive, and I found myself lacking motivation to finish the build. Once I finished, I sat the build in our living room next to the little town I have built and I have to say, they did a fantastic job designing this. It is fragile, so be careful moving it!
