Disappointing Build

I am a Lego fanatic and own just about every adult set on the market. My kids grew up playing with Legos. So, for me to give a set that is potentially as awesome as the Eiffel tower a bad review, well it must be pretty bad. The set is very monotonous to build, extremely repetitive, and exceptionally fragile. Not what you would expect from a build like this. Eiffel is screaming in his grave! I honestly did not enjoy this build. With all of that said, it is an impressive structure. It's huge and therein lies another problem. How do you display something this large? (And fragile) As much as it pains me to say, I cannot recommend this set to anyone but the most dedicated Eiffel tower fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this knowing it would be fun, but it is much more than that it was by far the lego icon/exclusive that I've built even better than the Titanic

The base was a bit finicky to get settled. The build as a whole is solid. Multiple steps need to be duplicated dozens of times which was fine for me. Really beautiful when complete!

Awesome Lego Set

This set is awesome. At 10001 pieces, it stands at about 5 ft tall, which is really tall compared to me. Pretty easy and took me about 15 hours of build time. A pretty easy set, in my opinion and looks great. Well done Lego!

The Eiffel Tower was easily the most challenging build for me as I would consider myself to be an expert builder after about 11 years of building legos.When I say challenging I mean EXTREMELY challenging the shear repititiveness of this set drained me a ton while building it,but overall it was extremely fun to finish the stages and levels of the build.(Only buy if have tons of lego experience!!!)

The Sky's Raining Bricks

I find that this is an amazing set, but was disappointed that detail bricks from the arch continued falling after multiple times of reassembling those areas correctly. I have never experienced this from Lego before and am slightly let down. I hope that I do not experience this again.

Missing parts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of lego-global] Nice kit but missing 11 parts so far and not finished! This is the 3rd expensive Lego set that I bought that is missing parts. Very frustrating.
