Missing Pieces

Overall had 2 missing pieces for the build, the first was in the bottom half and the second in the top half. And all the extra pieces that included none of them were the missing ones i needed. Also, for the second missing piece needed its not even in stock to get! Very disappointing for the price and build. Now have to wait more!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Near Impossible

I got this set as a Christmas present LAST YEAR. I worked on it for about a month till I had to put it to the side and stop building it. The whole entire base kept collapsing and I got frustrated and had to stop. I rebuilt the base about 30 times. Fast forward to June 27th, I talked to someone at the lego store and they told me to bring it in. I brought it in and they helped be get the base part (the scenery part) together. I brought it home and worked EVERYDAY until I ended up having a missing piece. This was not a big deal as I just went onto lego and requested a new piece. I just got home from traveling yesterday, so I decided to continue building it. I finally finished the whole entire base and middle parts of the set. I decided that it would be the best time to move the set into my room, so I took a break from building to move some stuff around to allow it to fit. I moved it into my room and all was well. Then, the whole bottom part of the tower decide to just disconnect when I placed it onto the ground and is now not going back together. I have had this set for over 6 months and I have yet to see the finish product. I have built many other sets that were 6000+ pieces in the matter of 4-5 days, not 6 months! If I wanted to have to rebuild a set over and over again I would have just taken apart one of the sets I have already finished. This was a waste of my parents money and my time. I have never glued a set and don’t plan on doing that, but this set is about to be put back into the corner and never touched again. This is the most stressful thing I have ever done! Don’t buy this set unless you like rebuilding things that you worked hours on already.

Just not a good set

This set is extremely repetitive, boring build. Honestly after building the first leg I wanted my money back.

Was disappointed as several pieces would just not stay together. Expected this to be bigger too. While it is 5 ft, over half the height is smaller sections

Showstopper

Of course it's repeatative but it is worth the time. It is fantastic when complete. Lego I just wanted to tell you the details are amazing and so is the sheer size. But wish you would have recognized that the arches are poorly constructed they are constantly falling off, might go back in and glue bc that's how many times I've reattached.
Other than that an the lack of scale on the base (there are no trees under the effiel tower in real life) this is a beautiful build.

So may elements just fall off, it doesn't hold together well at all. Wish I knew before I spent so much money on it.

Disappointing Build

I am a Lego fanatic and own just about every adult set on the market. My kids grew up playing with Legos. So, for me to give a set that is potentially as awesome as the Eiffel tower a bad review, well it must be pretty bad. The set is very monotonous to build, extremely repetitive, and exceptionally fragile. Not what you would expect from a build like this. Eiffel is screaming in his grave! I honestly did not enjoy this build. With all of that said, it is an impressive structure. It's huge and therein lies another problem. How do you display something this large? (And fragile) As much as it pains me to say, I cannot recommend this set to anyone but the most dedicated Eiffel tower fan.
