INCREDIBLE LEGO SET!

I got this awesome LEGO set in late 2022, but I'm just now writing a review about this set. It's, incredible. Whilst the only reasonable usage for this set is to just observe the vast amount of detail across different parts of the tower, you WILL feel amazed and shocked in disbelief at how you were able to build a masterpiece! Some old reviews stated that it was very difficult to build this LEGO set, and that this should have come with glue, and I disagree. Why? well simply put, the building process is extremely repetitive; you have to make 'X' shaped metal beams on all four sides of just one column out of 4, and they are very fragile. You must place blocks very firmly on the base so that they won't collapse. LEGOs won't stick for you, you have to have extra careful hands. Yes, the arches are extremely fragile and break apart easily when the tower is shaken, but the main first part of the Eiffel Tower is very solid.
I suggest that if you believe that you have enough time to build this set and know that this set is RIGHT for you (remember it is difficult to build with LEGOs just because LEGOs has a representation of being a "children's" toy), then it is worth the money. Other than that, then you're better off buying something easier and simpler like the Concorde or the Titanic (which I also have and is very easy).

Bought the Effel tower for myself as it has been on my list to visit one day. Finally got it this year to build it with my son who is also a huge Lego fan and loves building them. Overall due to the size was very repeative which would require patience. The bottom arches was the most challenging in putting together, if it wasn't for my son not sure if it would have been put together as well as it did. Quality time spent in building this with him is priceless and looking forward to other builds!!! Would to to have the original Taj Mahal back on the market.

Worst build I have ever done

Not enough support for various pieces, just looking at them causes them to fall apart. Have been working on this off and on for 6 weeks and haven't gotten through box 2. Am going to put it away and maybe come back to it some day.

Don’t buy this product

I’ve had was to many pieces missing that I’ve had to order. And some parts are literally impossible to fit. Step 541 literally does not fit into the piece I’ve tried for over and hour in every which way and it’s just too big of a hassle for the money! SO SAVE YOURS AND DONT BUT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Freaking tall Lego set ever

Poor structure

I loved building this piece, and once done it was really nice to look at. But once I tried transporting it (in 4 pieces) the bottom two pieces would crumble over and over again. I cannot get it back to “normal” without dropping or breaking pieces. Kinda upsetting for how expensive it was…I’m scared to transport it again for fear of losing pieces.

It's impressive but not fun

There was no fun in building this. Many repetitive steps, since the four quadrants are identical. Every piece is grey. It looks impressive at the end, but the point of Legos is to have fun and that comes in building it. Like a puzzle, I enjoy piecing them together more than I do viewing the finished product.

Build with superglue or doesn’t waste your time

I don’t know where to start with a set. There are a lot of pieces and it is a huge set, and after having built the titanic and dozens of other sets, I thought this would be fun. It took months to build in large part because it is extremely fragile and falls apart constantly. I finally completed building it and had it on display. I moved one tiny part on the bottom and several pieces on the bottom of it fell off. I waited a few weeks to put it back together, and as I was repairing it, the entire structure fell apart. I have never despised building a set more than this set. If it was not so expensive and time-consuming, I would get rid of it. I am going to rebuild it and this time I’m going to use superglue. I’ve never had to do that with a Lego set before. This was incredibly poorly constructed and is entirely too fragile. I absolutely hate this set and wish I never purchased it and wasted so much time on it.
