Us this to expand the USB3 connectivity of my MacPro. While there are many USB3 hubs on the market to choose from, the Tripp•Lite was reasonably priced and had many good reviews. So far it has been living up to the reviews and I am completely happy with the purchase. I have only had it for about a month so I can't comment on the products longevity.

It's hard to find a hub with this many ports. This one has the extra charging port, which can be handy. The unit I received failed after a short while, so it was replaced at no cost to me and is working flawlessly. This company stands behind its products.

We have quality 7 Port 2.0 USB hubs on two computers and the one on my wife's computer failed after years of service. I went shopping online at Tiger-Direct and read the reviews on USB hubs and the features and the name Tripp-Lite was enough to convince me to select the U360-007, 7 Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub. It was a snap to install even with the short power lead. I plugged all the equipment into the hub and it has been a great piece of equipment, it does it's job and you soon forget it's there. I would highly recommend this high speed hub, the price is right for the quality of the product.

After reading the specs and product information on the U360-007 USB 3.0 7 port hub I selected it for my Apple iMac 27Ó system. I had read reports about other USB 3.0 hubs having issues with mixing 2.0 and 3.0 devices. Not so with the Tripp-Lite product. I have three USB 2.0 devices plugged in and a USB 3.0 external hard drive. The hard drive performs nicely at the 3.0 level without disturbing the 2.0. devices. The slightly higher price is more than justified because the hub performs exactly the way it should. I am very satisfied.
