Poor quality build

This is the worst, most frustrating Lego build I've ever done. The front end kept falling apart; pieces flying everywhere, followed by curses after the endth time trying to assemble this horrendous model. Unlike other quality Lego builds, none of the pieces on the front end locked the others in to place, so the final construction is extremely fragile. Definitely NOT for kids aged 9+ as advertised!
Don't waste your money on this one. There are much better builds available.

I believe I have the majority of the speed champions sets. So I when I say this was a disappointing build it is with experience. My main gripe is with the front end. The stud attachments are super loose around the headlights, dont quite meet. So if you breathe on the model there, it falls apart, and rebuilding is problematic

The build experience was great. The techniques used on the speed champion sets continue to impress me. The shaping is a little wonky in some areas and I wish the top 2x6 plate was printed. Overall really great set.

If you're a fan of the Speed Champions series you'll already know that each set offers different build techniques. Other than the recent Dodge Challenger SRT with zero stickers, this set includes stickers, just a few, take your time, use tweezers. What this particular Porche set also offers to the S/C series collector is color and playability. It's sturdy, well-built, and holds it's own among other cars. Plus it looks GREAT on display. If you're on the fence, I say go for it - you'll have fun assembling. Happy Building!

I like the car and design but there were times where I would get confused and things were not easy to put together (even though they went in that spot) overall 6/10
