I picked up this set and was immediately impressed. The build experience is one of the best I've seen in the Speed Champions line, and I've built them all! Amazing, creative techniques are sprinkled all throughout the build. Great sideways stacking, lots of SNOT elements and even more printed pieces than most comparable sets. Sure, there are a bunch of stickers, but lots of the smaller graphics are accomplished with printed elements. Kudos to the design team for this one!

This Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of the greatest high performance cars of all time. The LEGO version is highly detailed well with its distinctive spoiler, the diffuser, interior, and not to mention the wheels. The build took at least an hour because I got stuck on step 73 when you have to put the rear window part on and it wouldn't snap on together, it took me 7 attempts to get it right. Although its a great set overall and I don't want to disappoint anyone, but this car is one fine stylish ride for Porsche fans.

In the process of convincing my wife to put it in the China cabinet on display. It’s perfect. There are 3 stickers for the gt3 rs on the side which seemed like a lot to line them up so I decided to leave them off, but I think it looks cleaner.
The wing is huge and moves. The angles. The vents. Splitters.
12/10. They got every detail. So clean I love it

A different way to build

My fiance bought me two copies of this build. I thought "Why not turn it into a transformer." With some spare parts for the skeletal support structure that bends and twists I was able to make it work! I had to do some reverse engineering on the back half so it would split apart forming legs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The final build is better than the images portray. I was hesitant but glad I got this one. After so many years of building speed champions they again incorporate new built techniques that made this really enjoyable!

Terrible Design

My son and I have been building Lego together for about 2 years. My son is 7 years old and is ADHD & Autistics. Lego helps him with both of those. He has built many Lego sets on his own. It really calms and centers him. Lately he has been want to build the cars so I bought him this set. He mad it all the way to 72 and when he was suppose to "Snap" the back part on to the rest of the build (73), it would not snap. No matter how hard he tried it would not snap. He got very discouraged and upset. He asked me for help and I too could not get it to "Snap" in place. I though maybe he did something wrong so I went back and checked his work. I could not see anything wrong so i took it all apart and rebuilt the whole thing myself. I too when it came to "snapping" it in place could not do. The way they have it angled and everything makes it very hard and frustrating. This set is not going to be added to his mass Lego pile of Misc parts and used there. Very disappointed with this set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
