Falls apart so easy. Pieces don’t align. Don’t buy

I purchased this up for my son a long time ago and we just started trying to build it. This one is infuriating. The back falls off so easy. The front falls off so easy front won’t even stay attached properly because the pieces are pushing against each other awkwardly so pieces are just flying and I am fixing the same thing over and over again. I own hundreds of sets most Star Wars and we’re getting into a race cars. This is by far the worst, I think I spent money on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved Lego's building techniques for the bumpers especially, build was very well thought of. I highly recommend for beginners, easily one of the best speed champions I have ever built!!

Captures the vibe of the car perfectly

This looks like what it is supposed to represent. It is immediately recognizable. I'm not a fan of the headlights, but they look much better in person and don't really detract from the overall look of the car. The entire rear section is built in a very clever way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ordered not to long ago for myself. Normally just put together at home when im bored but I can say this one made the inner kid in me smile.

Terrible Design

My son and I have been building Lego together for about 2 years. My son is 7 years old and is ADHD & Autistics. Lego helps him with both of those. He has built many Lego sets on his own. It really calms and centers him. Lately he has been want to build the cars so I bought him this set. He mad it all the way to 72 and when he was suppose to "Snap" the back part on to the rest of the build (73), it would not snap. No matter how hard he tried it would not snap. He got very discouraged and upset. He asked me for help and I too could not get it to "Snap" in place. I though maybe he did something wrong so I went back and checked his work. I could not see anything wrong so i took it all apart and rebuilt the whole thing myself. I too when it came to "snapping" it in place could not do. The way they have it angled and everything makes it very hard and frustrating. This set is not going to be added to his mass Lego pile of Misc parts and used there. Very disappointed with this set.

Poor quality build

This is the worst, most frustrating Lego build I've ever done. The front end kept falling apart; pieces flying everywhere, followed by curses after the endth time trying to assemble this horrendous model. Unlike other quality Lego builds, none of the pieces on the front end locked the others in to place, so the final construction is extremely fragile. Definitely NOT for kids aged 9+ as advertised!
Don't waste your money on this one. There are much better builds available.
