The power blips for a second in the building we are located in every now and then. With-out APC, important servers and data would be put in peril. Luckily with APC, things have been rock solid 24-7. I was emailed a battery failure warning and quickly ordered a replacement. The swapping of the batteries is a walk in the park, no swelling of the old batteries like yesteryear, which made it difficult to remove the old battery. No sleep lost here!
Pros: Ease of Management, High Quality, High Confidence Level in 24/7 Uptime

Second order got the correct battery. Order showed up but now return mailing for battery disposal. They brag about this when calling in on hold as to why purchase from APC but when you do they forget that part. I you want to dispose of the battery you must call an E-waste company or deliver yourself or you could make several phone calls and e-mails to APC and get the UPS return label. So if the deal is better somewhere else you might want to take it.

I've purchased refurbished batteries before, and they never last as long or work as well as the APC brand. It's definitely worth the higher price. Installation is simple and quick.

Easy Installation

The battery replacement for our rack mount UPS was easy and straightforward. The extra cost to purchase the batteries ready to install (instead of requiring removing the connections/cables from the old batteries and installing them on the new batteries) was very worthwhile.
The ability to recycle the batteries at a nearby Staples store was an added bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!
