Apple Watch Ultra does not stay on well due to the bulky size. Watch naturally lists and the connection is often lost with the mag charger itself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great for my Apple Watch 7 but my iPhone 12 Pro tends to slide off the MagSafe. Would a Morphie or Nomad flat pad be better for the iPhone?

Are you perhaps using a protective case that wasn't specifically designed to accommodate Apple's MagSafe accessory ecosystem? A charging stand such as this will definitely require either direct interaction with your device or a case that has its own magnetic components to help facilitate a "locking" connection.

Doesn’t work with Apple Watch gen 7

This looks great and works amazing for everything except the Apple Watch charger. After about 15 minutes my watch says the connected accessory doesn’t work. Which is a disappointment that a third of this doesn’t work as intended.
