I have been using my VX9 on an area that I hunted with my AT Max with surprising rusults, it is magic how it finds small necklace type of chains, it is really good on small thin targets as I also get a lot of thin wire in my trash. I am very happy with my finds!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received my new Vortex VX9 in the early part of Winter. There was 5-6” of snow on the ground, but I had to give it a try anyway! I expected just to find large targets, but got pleasantly surprised with a Barber quarter and an Indian Head penny! I also used it to help 2 people find their cellphones that had gotten plowed deep into snowbanks during The Ring Finders searches. Can’t wait to use it on open ground!

I bought the VX9 when it first was available. Prior to the purchase I was a devout AT Max user. I haven't used it since this purchase. The updates are easy to do, and have helped with it's easy turn on, gound balance, & GO!

I am new to the detecting family but with a little practice and a few you tube videos' i have found multiple coins. Very easy to learn and use. Love the light weight and awesome battery life.
