I just purchased this a week ago. I was detecting with an older Minelab 40 and I am extremely impressed with the quality and ease of use with this new VX9. Finding coins is so enjoyable with this detector.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Vortex VX9- love it.

I recently purchased the Vortex VX9 and had an opportunity to try it out on the Long Beach peninsula in WA. I found a keychain buried 2’ in the sand, a modern penny and quarter, all within an hour of experimenting with settings. Anxious to go again!

Not a Bad Detector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be a highly accurate detector. It has a good range of advanced settings, but would still be easy for a beginner to use. I love the small coil.

Great new features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had it for a week. This is my 3rd detector and I am impressed with all the new features. After having used the AT Gold for a few years, this will take some getting use to. Have done some early testing and exploring around my back 2 acres, so far very impressed!

Bought this just a few days ago , found a few old hand cut nails on my property that are pretty awesome , will do to the beach next, as i'm located in Maine and the ground is freezing ,so hard digging but I can tell I am going to like my detector
