I have used a SAD light for 20 years

MY 20 year old SAD light is huge, bulky and very heavy. The Verilux is so lightweight and I can take it anywhere. We have many cloudy days in the winter here in the midwest. :)

I have 2 - one in my bedroom and one in my office. I use them to wake up and when I get sleepy after lunch. Rainy days are depressing and the light helps tremendously. It’s wonderful!

Since it is already at Daylight savings time, I will wait until next autumn to use it, but it was a good deal, and it fit into a spot by my easy chair just right, and I'll use it in the morning catching up on the news....it seems sturdy and it should fit the bill! I have had experience with this company and never been disappointed!

My doctor recommended this to help with my depression & insomnia. The first night I used it, I fell asleep 5 hours earlier than normal. I've noticed my mood is improving.

HappyLight Compact perfect for office desk

Perfect. Less intense than other models I've tried, so I can leave it on all day at work and still receive the same benefits without blinding myself or others nearby. Just love it.
