I use this light to help me with my delayed sleep-phase disorder. While it's not magic - it requires other interventions such as no screen time before bed and while I do get to sleep earlier it's not necessarily as early as I'd like, it has proven effective for me. This is also much cheaper than many other lights that serve the same purpose while still having the needed brightness and full color spectrum.

I purchased my 1st happy light over 15 years ago for my husband for his seasonal affective disorder. It was funny when my tween would say after the winter solstice, "I think it's time to get the happy light out".
Now that my 3 children are all young adults and with covid I bought each one of them a smaller version and they all use it daily. I also purchased one for a friend who struggles in the winter. During these crazy times we can all use some extra help to make it through.
