I've been using full spectrum light boxes for 30 years - the first ones were big, bulky ,inconvenient and much less effective. Verilux has made the indispensable tool for fighting off seasonal affective disorder easy to utilize and compatible with mobility. I use it while doing yoga as well as while working in my studio so they fit into my lifestyle easily and seamlessly. They are also highly effective !

Easy to use. Well designed. And, most importantly, it "does the trick"! I love my Happy Light! I have seasonal effective disorder as winter approaches, and used to struggle with headaches and depression. My current HappyLight (my second) sits perfectly on my desk, and allows me to reap it's benefits while catching up on my "work from home" role. Highly recommend this product to anyone who may struggle with the change in seasons.

Perfect for dark winter days

This light is amazing! It allowed me to survive chicago winters in college when I was a transplant from California and now assists me with evenings that are dark too soon in CO. For anyone dealing with seasonal depression I highly recommend this product as an adjunct to whatever therapy being used.

This is my second SAD therapy light. The 1st Verilux, I feel like the fullsize happy light is a serious light therapy device. I fear that others available are just lights in a box.

I used my other Verilux for years before it died then ordered this one because the same bulbs worked in the newer model. Using this light during the short, dark, and rather cold winters really helps my mood. If I did not have the light, I think I would sleep all day!
