Lousy stovetop

The stovetop on my new stove is so scratched it looks ancient. My old one was 20 years old and didn't have one scratch. You need to do something about this. Needless to say, I would never give this a good rating and will never buy another of your appliances unless you do something about this
Also the readout is covered in cheap plastic. Should be glass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when i bought the stove i was told that the oven had fan. i thought great but it seems longer for the oven temp to reach the temp i want and it really makes my kitchen hot as the heat is coming out the front above the oven door. other then that it cooks very well

Purchased last June. Installed three months ago. The knob housing unit which is located less than one and one half inches from a burner is PLASTIC. Genius!!! We all know where this is going. Yes - a pan briefly hit the plastic so now I have melted plastic on the front of the stovetop. And it gets better. The cheap plastic is white with a black coating so the melt is white but it now MATCHES the front edge of the housing where the paint began to wear off immediately. And tough luck to me because it's a cosmetic problem. But of course they were so sorry and understood hoe I felt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
