Love the oven but frustrated

We love the oven and have owned it for over 10 years now. Unfortunately, as soon as the warranty period ended the control panel had to be replaced. The cost was ridiculous so we did it ourselves. Repair was easy but it was disappointing to have to do it in the first place. Now the door is locked after a self-clean and we are unable to open it. Is there a way to open the door without pulling everything apart?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice looking range. Unfortunately I do not like cooking on electric stoves. The glass top looks pretty when clean, but shows every piece of lint and dust.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly designed appliance

The end caps on the knob/control panel hit the countertop before the range is flush with the cabinets. Thus the range protrudes about two inches.
The two small elements are at the rear; the two large ones in front. One small, one large in each row would be more convenient. Something prepared in a small saucepan usually requires attention, but with the small elements at the back, I have to duck under the range hood and bend way over the range to see the contents.
The touch panel has no keypad, only up and down arrows. This requires scrolling to set any time-related function.

Not happy

Have had trouble regulating the cooking temperature of the oven.Only had a couple of months. Already had to have technician out. Replaced sensor and the full control board. Still not working right. I had to go into system and adjust the factory set temperature. A little concerned when I can't even cook a frozen pizza correctly. What about a holiday turkey? A little concerned about baking Christmas cookies too.

I bought it 2 months ago, and the stainless always looks finger printed and streaky. Hard to keep clean. Not sure if black would have been better. The top is much harder to clean as well, everything just sticks on and does not wipe off well. The stove I replaced was less maintenance.

Hey Kola! Thank you for your review. We understand that you have some questions about cleaning your new range. It really only takes a few steps to make your range beautiful. For the Ceramic cook top we recommend that you apply a few drops of cooktop cleaning crème directly to the soiled area. Rub the soiled area using a 3M Scotch-Brite Blue Multi-Purpose No Scratch Scrub Sponge, applying pressure as needed. If the soil remains, carefully scrape soil with a metal razor blade scraper, holding scraper at a 30 degree angle to the surface. Remove the loosened soils with cooktop cleaning cream and buff surface clean. For the stainless steel exterior we recommend a good quality stainless cleaner and a microfiber cloth. This was in our new house it is great. It so good to have a cooktop again but i was cleaning it there is finger prints in between the two layers of glass in the door. Not happy about that. How does this happen.
