I bought this phone the second day it was available from Sprint. I loved it in the first hour. I was told the 2.2 update is on the way. But alas it has been months and no update. The overall rating is 3 stars because of this. Performance, Design and Value are 5 stars. Features are 4 stars because I can not view webpages that use Flash, which I am told 2.2 will support. I won't recommend this phone if it can not view Flash webpages.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, google maps with gps routing and traffic updates, dual camera use qik app, slide out keyboard
Cons: stuck in android 2.1 os
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this device. I can RDP into my secure management servers using WiFi, 3G or 4G. The tethering is great to share WiFi - just make sure you have a softphone client to still be able to take calls. As of writing this, where is Froyo 2.2? I hope the Android OS updates don't take so long in the future.
I used to have a B-B3rry, and that device did everything I wanted at the time. By switching to the Samsung Epic, I realize what I was missing!
The Epic is much better than the Xperia we had for a couple of weeks. It is much faster and has a better screen. And the volume is much better on the Epic. Just wish they would come out with the 2.2 Anroid OS. Hoping this will allow for voice commands on a bluetooth.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best phone i have ever had!!! great pics.
This is a very cool phone. Just very disappointed in battery life. Also having to get used to the bulkiness of the phone. Other than that, it is a lot of entertainment in one device!
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Too big, battery life too short
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still the best out there

For what it does, it's still the best smartphone out there. My next upgrade will be the phone/laptop coming out this fall, and should be bugged out by Summer of 2012, when I plan to upgrade.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great earbuds
