The Samasung Epic 4G is Fabulous!

This phone has great features, sleek design, extreme functionability and versatile. The touchscreen is fabulous and very easy to use and fast. For messaging, the touchscreen is great with voice text, drag or type. Or if you like a keyboard, slide it and type. Lightning fast 3/4G reception and downloads. This is one of Samsung's best phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

The epic 4g has great possibilities

The phone has great capabilities. I am disappointed about using the full capabilities of the phone due to the upgrade, the phone get very hot when charging. Battery life is poor. I do like the android apps. the screen is a nice size great to look at, color is great. i like the ability to use voice to input text. onscreen keyboard work well. slide-out keyboard is a great option. Google apps is a great addition. The operating system is very fast.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: poor battery life, too high temperature when charging

I LOVE my Epic. I've had about 6 phones over the past 10 years, this is by far my favorite. I had the Instinct and wasn't overly happy with it in the end, but it did good for 2 years. The Epic is amazing, and hasn't disappointed yet

you buy this phone thinking oh its 4g and android. but little do you know it wont be getting updates to the version of android like other phones do such as the htc evo. its a good phone just no support to back to updates with android. i will be switching to an evo due to fact that htc backs its products better than samsung which is a real shame, i enjoy samsung products and this is a big upset in my book.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, android updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Phone of epic proportions

Great features and design. I like having both touch screen, which is the one of the best I have seen, and the physical keyboard. Battery life has been much improved by adding an "App Killer" and just being aware of what connectivity features are running. It has been very snappy in terms of processing. I feel the pictures are actually better than those phones which have an 8MP camera.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: thicker than other wireless phones
