Initially I was kind of Disappointed coming from Sense UI to the Touch Wiz UI, it did feel sort of laggy despite the superior hardware. But after playing around with the available options on XDA and SDX and really getting a feel of what EXT4 is all about this phone rocks! Wait until Gingerbread or even HoneyComb comes along and this phone will easily stand up against the Nexus S. IF you are running a stock rom search the market for Launcher Pro and Spare Parts, in Spare parts set all the window and transition settings to fast or off and you will see this phone fly, I and the sprint store itself highly recommend looking through XDA to see the full potential!
Speed is a 5 Design is a 5 Features is a 4 because of TW, I wish they would port SENSE UI over to us than i would give it an overal 8 of 5 on everything Value is a 4 because lets face it, no 2.2 official and no 2.3 time line!
I have the EVO de-activated sitting next to me so if that tells ya anything about the phone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

ive had this phone for quite a while now and i find out something new everyday. i only wish the battery life were longer and when are we getting froyo (android 2.2) i heard it helps with battery life...phone is awesome.
I like the phone, but hate the support. Samsung has issued 2.2 for the galaxy s series phones in other parts of the world but not the US. Also paying the extra money to use the phone is not worth it unless you are in a 4G coverage area.
Since the dock requires 2.2 it is not even useful as a dock.
This is my second samsung cellphone and both received poor attention when it came to upgrades. I believe this will be my last samsung cellphone.
The one star for value was due to the product support.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor support, gps issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had it a couple of days but already enjoy the speed and battery life after first charge I played in android market and the web (not using 4G) for about 6 hours left it off the charger all night and the battery finally died almost 4 hours after I woke up which is a huge improvement from the moment I had that if it lasted 4 hours you was lucky. There are a few things from the moment I would of liked to see on the epic for instance a clock widget that wasn't analog I had to go find a digital one on the market
A great phone with tons of stunning features and customization options. The only drawback so far is the short battery life. Plan on picking up a spare if you decide to purchase this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: short battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

After having this phone for going on 2 months I simply cannot find one thing that Samsung did not do right. I have used the 4g and it is blazing fast. The qwerty keyboard layout is perfect for those that still like to have that option. Too me Samsung speaks about its product through what effort they put into making it just right. This phone has the best screen quality, has Swype feature for use when text messaging without using the qwerty keyboard, which in my opinion is flawless. Along with all the apps, 4g, processor speed, screen quality that matches Samsung's latest LED TV, for all of those that don't know what I mean, this phone has the Super Amoled screen! Congratulations to Samsung once again for putting such thought and innovation not only into all their products but also their smartphones.
It is the tablet that fits in my pocket. I love the resolution of the screen and the ability to resize easily to see minute detail. The camera is a great documentation tool when I am shopping or recording a label I need for later analysis. My favorite apps are Kendle (I read more now), Where, Yelp and Angry Birds.
