I chose this phone over the EVO because of the slide out keyboard and the fact that it's slightly smaller (though it's thicker). The internet and downloaded apps are very fast. I like the qwerty board and having the option of using the touch screen. I love the Android system and find it fun and easy to use. The applications are easy to download and comparable to Iphone apps. The camera takes good quality pictures and has a number of photo options except zoom while picture taking. I would recommend this phone for those who prefer the Android, qwerty board and a reliable phone. Samsung has made a good solid product.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, android system
I would recommend this to a friend!

this phone is amazing overall with features many other phones out on the market today do not have. I am extremely pleased with the ease of use and the great picture quality. I hope to stay with this phone for a long time.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big, text messaging tones are locked
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Might be a little costly up front but the phone has a good value. Very capable phone with lots of multimedia aspects. I got this phone after a Droid Eris and this puts that to shame but this is a fullblown Android phone and one of the most advanced available except for 2.1 which should be 2.2/2.3.
If you are looking at this phone, get it, you will not be disappointed.
This would be the best phone available if it had the option to upgrade it to android 2.2. But other than that its one of the best phones I've had and I've had the Droid, Droid 2, Evo, and now the Epic. Samsung just needs to get on top of updating their phones software.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: software version
I would recommend this to a friend!

Close to perfect...

The phone itself it amazing. I love the fact that you can use touch-screen OR an actual keyboard. I also think it blows the iPhone4 away...
My only real complaints are that sometimes it may lag, the battery dies too quickly, and the keyboard is somewhat awkward to use; maybe I just have small hands, but it's hard to reach the keys I really want to with my thumbs when texting.
Regardless, I highly recommend the phone and look forward to using it for the next 2 years or so.
