I have to say that when I first played with the demo phone in the Sprint Store, I fell in love with the Epic 4G. Having owned it for a month now, I can't think of using any other smart phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone overall but a few build quality issues

Nice looking phone. I love the display. Battery life is much better than what my friends are experiencing with their Android phones.
My only concerns so far are that the slide/hinge is already wobbly and the battery door feels 'squishy' on the sides. I won't put the phone on vibrate - It rattles the phone terribly. I am worried that the slide/hinge won't last two years.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: build quality

This phone is reallly awsome. Its easy to use and has great features. The keyboard is awsome and screen is bright and crisp. Its really fast durable. I love this phone.

I'll keep it short and to the point.
I love the Android platform and this is arguably THE most feature rich and best looking/performing of the Androids currently available anywhere.
I was hesitant to get this phone bc of one reason. I have never had slide out keyboard (always had candy bar style) and was concerned about durability. However, this phone is remarkably well constructed. It is light, rigid and performs brilliantly.
Also, it shipped with Android 2.1 Eclair - no embedded flash support. I found and upgrade (via Sprint) the new Android 2.2 Eclair, and it gives you a browsing experience that truly rivals a desktop computer. 4G helps too :)
External speaker is not the absolute best is my only minor quibble.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: external speaker can sound "thin" on voice calls
I would recommend this to a friend!
