So far so good...

I have only had my new phone a few days and so far so good. I am so far not thrilled with having the same ringtone for everyone, but I am hoping that this is just something I have not figured out how to do yet. At night it keeps making noise when I am charging it,and not sure why yet, I look to see whats up, but nothing is new so I am really not sure why it is making noise during the charge.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, high tech
Cons: expensive even with a two year plan, one ring tone for all callers, needs a better basic how to guide, had trouble figuring out how to open battery door
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good sound quality, a little difficult to navigate around, (palm user) Would like to be able to delete some applications easier. Things that should be on the phone are down-loadable via market, (battery monitor)... All in all I am happy with the phone and would recommend it to others. I am a HEAVY cell user, and haven't gotten as much battery life as I would like, but this will do well.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am in absolute LOVE with this phone. It's very entertaining, does everything it says it'll do. Got the media hub update. Many different apps in the market to choose from. Only thing that's somewhat of a downer is the battery life. Make sure you have a charger wherever you go!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this phone. I found nothing really wrong with this phone. I love the swype technology, but also love the keyboard option. Battery last pretty much all day. Have to charge at least an hour when I get home. Camera option is ok, Not the best but great out doors shots. Speaker is on the other side of the phone and doesnt work all the best. Awesome storage and memory.. You can download any apps and music.. Absolutley LOVE this phone..KSA

The Samsung Epic 4G Galaxy S, A phone thats too powerful?

I love my Samsung Epic 4G! The processor is incredibly fast (probably 1 out of 20 times using it does it choke for a second or two). The touch screen sensitivity was a little touchy, however putting a screen protector on the display makes the sensitivity of swiping/ touching perfect. The speech to text software is fully developed (unlike many other phones) enabling me to speak casually into the phone and having it turn into a text message. The swiping text feature is so easy to do that i rather use that feature than the keyboard. The keyboard itself I think is a little too big. After using it for more than 5 minutes my hand muscles start to get tired due to stretching fingers out. The android operating system on the phone is great, but is very difficult to navigate through for first time users like myself. I switched from a Palm Pro to this Epic Galaxy S and have not missed my old phone at all. The only other problem I have with this phone is that the applications downloaded through the Android market can only be downloaded to the internal memory of the phone, rather than its SD card which has more than enough space for multiple apps. The back and front camera is great quality and the light sensor on the front of the phone is definitely ahead of its time. One other problem is the feel of sliding the keyboard out. It seems a little vulnerable and I feel as if I might end up breaking the phone the day I slide the keyboard to quickly. Samsung should take the time to make sure there products feel very solid before released on the market, as this is a huge turn off for me when it came to the phone. Sometimes when I press the power button located on the right side of the screen I accidentally push the keyboard out a little bit. Other than a slightly over-sized and loose keyboard, I love this phone especially when the 4G network is turned on as it is actually faster then my home internet. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a cutting edge, super fast smartphone but does not want to be a slave to Apple Inc.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, super fast
Cons: keyboard too big, android os difficult for first time users

Phone is great, does almost everything you could ask for in a phone. Only problem I have found is Adobe Flash player does not work with the phone, once the upgrade to Android 2.2 is available it will work though.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, fast processor
Cons: lack of flash player, price
