I've had the Epic for a week now and discover new features daily. Being an electronics nut, I've had more phones than I can count. The epic is without a doubt the absolute best I've ever owned. The features are amazing, lightning quick and fun to use. The volume button is a challenge at times (especially in the cradle of the optional docking station) but it's only a minor issue. As another owner stated, battery life is fairly short, but increases as you shut down running programs on start up. If you're searching for an incredible phone, this is the one.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast, simple to use

all in all i enjoy my phone more and mpre every day. I find that i no longer use my lap top as much which is awesome. Ever since i have had a cell phone it has always was a samsung poduct. One of the key reason i chose the samsung epic over the htc evo i the sliding key board. Since samsung has swype key i find that I don't need the keyboard although it comes in handy when you are sighing into accounts because the keys on the screen i find are way too small.
I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS PHONE AND I WIL COUTINUE MY PURCHASES AND RECOMENDATIONS ON SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

Excellent product with a lot of new great features that you cannot find to others. The only problem is the battery, with a fully charge batttery when leave it overnight the next morning almost half of battery life is gone. But other than that, its almost perfect!

I went from a basic cell phone without texting to this wonderful device. I'm enjoying all the new things I can do. camera, calendar, internet, and texting. It is a great device and a joy to use. It is fast, easy to get from app to app, and able to do several things at once.
