Whether you're looking for a phone for texting and social apps or if you're looking something that will help you with school and work - look no further!
I have always liked and had good experiences with Samsung products, especially their phones. The Samsung Epic 4g definitely hasn't let me down yet! I like the IM format texting, along with all the different options for typing, whether it's touch typing, using the QWERTY keyboard or the Swype option. I have access to ALL my e-mail accounts, my Facebook, and countless apps and games. So far, there hasn't been anything that the Samsung Epic 4g can't handle.
It's a larger phone, but considering the size of the touch screen and the QWERTY keyboard, it's actually not much larger than other smartphones. It's lightweight and the slider is easy to use as it's spring assisted.
My only complaints, and they're minor in the grand scheme of things, are: the back cover feels thin and somewhat flimsy and the only way to wake up the phone (I've found) is to press the power key on the upper top side of the phone (other phones I've had, you could wake up the phone by touching the screen and/or by the home keys on the front of the phone).
Overall, I am beyond happy with my purchase and look forward to seeing what else this phone is capable of when I start my college classes next month.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, camera
Cons: flimsy back cover, waking up the phone via power button
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned a lot of cell phones, this one by far is the best. I have had very little problems with this phone and have only had to have it replaced once (which for me is unusual). I would not only recommend it to a friend, I would buy another one.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my Epic 4G for close to a year now, and I still love it. I'm always discovering new apps in the Android store, making it more valuable and more fun over time.
3G "On" is RARE. I have NO 3G Settings menu.... This came with 2.2- which I see has been replaced with ol' reliable 2.1.
ARGGGHHH!
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I was looking for a screaming fast phone to show photos and go to the internet for my part time photography business. The phone goes to the max at 3G or 4G and the texting with a full size keyboard is terrific for a mature person like me. Even the touch screen is fairly good (for a guy with all thumbs!)
Pros: Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Phone. Fix the Keypad issues & it's perfect. Keyboard skips keys. Big turn off. I may go with the Evo instead like most others.
