Still cannot communicate for with a PC which makes it worthless to me. I will never again buy another Samsung product of any kind. No support....worthless!!
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, doest not communicate with computer

Of all the phone's I've had, I love both Samsung Epic 4G & 4G Touch
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable

First Smart Phone

Being my first smart phone, I'm not much of an authority on them. All I can say is I am very happy with it. So far it has proven to be user friendly and trouble free.
I like how easy it is to write text messages with the qwerty keyboard while riding my motorcycle down the highway.
I would recommend this phone to anyone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Missing My Blackberry....

I have been a loyal BB user. It took all I had to switch. This is the first phone I can say is NOT user friendly. Maybe I am missing something but the more I play with this phone to try and figure it out, the more I want my BB back. Its just a phone I just don't get. I really don't know what I was expecting the phone to do but its not doing anything for me to make me say "I made the right decision for giving up my BB." I just don't get this phone. I guess I am just lost.......
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Just purchased my New Samsung epic 4G phone and it is the best Phone ever for 2010 and all i can say is Samsung You Done It Again

I've used this phone for a couple months, now. I've tried a lot of different 'apps', with any trouble (crashes). I don't like the design of the phone where the power button is oposite the volume up button. The slider is very loose and feels cheap. I've had other sliders from HTC that would shame this theoretical superior device. Paying extra for its enhanced performance is not worth it. Samsung/Sprint are very slow to roll out FROYO for it and the battery life is seeming short. I shut down unnecessary services/apps and I keep the bluetooth/wifi/4G/GPS radios all turned off....and I can make it about 12 hours until my battery is dead. My signal is not the greatest, but I'm comparing this phone to other smart/PDA phones that I've had and used in the same location(s). Would not purchase it again.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, included 16gb memory card
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, battery life, poor sprint data service, pretty expensive, slow updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Luv this phone

I had a samsung moment for over a year as my first smart phone but had issues with things like battery. My daughter had the Epic and had none of my problems so as soon as I could upgrade I did to the Epic and have loved every minute of it. Hubby is probably going to get one now too
