battery last about 4-5 hrs with average use, get a car charger. i will never see 4g during the life of this phone but i pay for it. extra for wifi hot spot. no android 2.2 don't know if its my carrier or samsung. the phone cost to much to have limits.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big, still waiting for android 2.2
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought this phone to upgrade to the modern world in cell phones. This phone has been useful to me and provides an easy to use, easy to see interface. In addition, the design of the slide out keyboard allows for you to have the option of where to input text.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like the Epic. It's taken some time to acclimate myself to the phone being a past Blackberry user. The display is awesome! Once I maneuvered through the different screens, I was able to personalize the phone to fit my needs.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: hard to navigate
I would recommend this to a friend!

My concerns

So far I really like this phone especially with the full keyboard included so its easier to type with.
My only concern is that it is still android 2.1, and that a lot of updates or enhancements that are available with in the market are geared towards 2.2. I do hope that samsung will provide the update to android 2.2 soon.
Also I do notice that even with all other apps off and only using a browser like dolphin that my battery does drain slightly faster then I would like.
But overall the phone is fantastic and it's beautiful designed and easy to use. I would recommend that if you are able to upgrade to it then by all means do.
Cons: not froyo 2.2 as of yet, battery drains a bit too fast on certain apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

the fact that i'm stuck with applications on my phone that i don't want or need really ticks me off. if there were an option to delete anything i wanted i would be very happy. the free apps stink. i don't like sports or racing or the racing game that we could never get to run. that is pretty much all i don't like so far. oh! i thought of something else. there is no end button. you are forced to go to your home screen and then your task manager to turn off an app.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: i can't delete apps. that i do not need
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is defenitely a much better phone than I use to have, (HTC touch and HTC diamond). There is a lot of features I do not use on a regular basis but I see other people using them like the camera, play music, etc. I love how it syncs with Gmail instantly and my contacts and calendar are always uptodate. The contact list is very nice and it make a lot of sense not like the old phone. The screen is wonderfull and even with a sreen protector is clear and vivid. So far it frozen only once in 3 months which I am very happy compare to my old phone which was 5 times a day. I love that when you receive a voicemail you can play it over and over from the phone instead of having to connect everysingle time to the voicemail, great to repeat the message many times. I only download a few apps but I think there is a lot of great ones waiting for me outhere!. This is a nice phone and so far so good!.
Pros: Bright display, reliable
Cons: battery life could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

This very good phone only has a couple draw backs. The Battery drains very quickly when being used to it's full capacity (maybe needs a hydrogen cell? The speaker on the phone delivers good sound except for voice mail or speaker phone use when the sound becomes tinny for some reason. Aside from these little draw backs this is a good smart phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: battery life is poor, tinny sound with voice mail
