No really happy with the touchwiz software and no android 2.2 the other gallaxy s phone offers more futures than the epic 4g when it comes to the touchwiz and not enough samsung widgets.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, no android 2.2 platform, not happy with touchwiz software can be costumize, like the ui sense that i had on the evo

Phone is overall good. Disappointed in battery-life and benchmarks results. Awesome screen and qwerty keyboard!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

not only just an amazing device but the best actual cell phone i have owned! my second samsung android phone. I also had moment. I loved it. It had issues but was great. This phone is sick. I have no other word for it. Thx for a great product. Love a product I can make my own not just another iclone4

I feel the product is exceptional, however there seems to be a rush to release something that doesn't have all of it's features available.
My biggest complaint is that the product doesn't have support for many of the interactive requirements of even Samsung's own website. I could not register my device while using it on their own website. Most likely, having flash software would take care of many of these issues. But try doing it yourself with the Epic 4G. You cannot enter all the information in the fields available. What a frustration when you need to go to websites for banking or other multimedia type applications. The Media Hub didn't work when I first got the phone... nothing like pressing a feature to be told coming soon...
I have to say though SWYPE is a saviour for my fat fingers... LOVE IT! GET FLASH SUPPORTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPED SOON PLEASE!!!

i like it well enough but other then the display it lacks a wow factor. Given the display of another phone of similiar price even the display isn't all that special. I guess I just expected more out of it.

I was originally going to buy the HTC Evo, then this phone came out. Glad I went with this one instead. I love the slide-out keyboard. This phone is very user-friendly. It has a lot of great features, and I learning about more that I can do with my new phone every day. Great buy!

So far I've had a great experience in migrating from one particular carrier and branded phone to my shiny new Samsung Epic. The performance of the phone is great so far and have only run into a minor issues with the browser crashing on occasion. A couple of other complaints are what drop my design rating down to three stars and those are in regards to the build quality and 5 megapixel camera. The phone doesn't feel as solid as I would like it to. And that could be due to the fact that it's a slider. No in regards to the camera, given that Samsung has been in the digital camera market for quite some time, I'm a bit disappointed that they only settled on a 5 megapixel for the device.
Despite my minor issues with it, I would highly recommend this phone to others.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, physical keyboard (hello terminal!)
Cons: 5 megapixel camera, not very solid feeling
I would recommend this to a friend!
