Plus: Fantastic Phone, Great screen, good keyboard, fast, above average storage and hardy touchscreen.
Cons: Too sensitive touch screen without any way to calibrate. 2 versions old OS.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, old os

Call/Text Log from FROYO OTA Update 2.2.1

I love the phone and features until the latest OTA 2.2.1 update.
My only issue is the call log now contains send/receive log of text messages in addition to calls. Currently there is no way to exclude the phone from collecting text message data in addition to the already onboard messaging application. To me this is doubling of unnecessary data. Yes, you can filter it out, but I'd rather not have to collect this in the call log file. The call log should only be what it is...a "call log."
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: battery life

Lots of problems since software update

I loved this phone when I first purchased it 9 months ago, but ever since the most recent software update I have had different, annoying problems with this phone. The screen freezes up all the time, on occassion I have not been able to hang up a call, had text messages go to different people then I am sending them to, had a call go to a different person that I dialed and had it switch itself to airplane mode on its own.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was my 3rd Samsung purchase. First was the ever- freezing Instinct, then the non-charging Moment, now the non-texting Epic. No fixes in place, and the only option is temporary (factory reset). I get a message that says every sent message "fails", but some msgs receive responses, so I have no idea when a message really fails. Also, 4G is overrated since its not available everywhere. 3G isnt so hot either since I lose that signal everyday as well. IDK, just overly disgusted.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, cant send texts!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this phone, this first one I got was defective but loved how it functioned when it actually worked. I got me another one and I'm totally in love with it, the speed of the phone is great, the screen is amazing and the fact that I can listen to my music and movies in 5.1 surround sound makes this the best phone I've ever had. My wife has the EVO 4G and she's jealous!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

This is the best phone I've ever owned. It's my second smartphone and definitely the best. I'm not even interested in trading after my contract is up because it serves my every purpose.

Love my Phone

This phone in every respect is perfect not just from a phone point of view but the utility of almost not needing access to my laptop on a regular basis makes it just indispensable PLEASE do not EVER take away the qwery KB love that function. I would make an HDMI dock for this phone out to a tv so items I purchase via media hub can be viewed on an external TV.
