Great phone...poor performance

a truly wonderful phone, maybe the best design and capabilities of any I have ever owned. That being said it had constant update errors and processing issues throughout many of its available applications and features. Some issues were SPRINT derived and some SAMSUNG, but they should have worked together to better improve the phone functionality in my opinion. I just upgraded to the new Galaxy S III and expect (hope) it will perform at the level it is capable of doing so.
If you are not afraid of Rooting your phone or Custom ROMs, this is a great device. While SWYPE and the like are great, having a physical keyboard that you can use at will is invaluable when typing long email replies or any activity more involved than SMS or Twitter messaging.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed

Disappointed in the fact that I am on the internet quite a bit and use 2-4 batteries a day. Phone wants to constantly reboot as well and that drains a fully charged battery in seconds. Also, only has 500 mg of internal storage space, so the number of apps that can be loaded is limited.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: poor battery life, constant rebooting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but not great

I upgraded to this phone from a regular messaging phone so it does a lot more than I'm used to but a couple of things I think need improving:
1. The battery life on this device is probably the shortest I've ever seen before on a cell phone. I might get 10 hours on a good day if I'm only using the phone for phone calls. For every other app being used subtract an hour from the battery life.
2. I am a blind user so audible access to applications means a lot to me. While much of this phone is accessible certain functions require touch-screen interaction or have no audible alert so you end up lost if you can't see it. Whether people realize it or not, blind individuals do the same things as sighted people- Use social and media apps, use the internet, look up videos, internet radio, etc. This phone doesn't support speech on certain things or it speaks for some things but not for others. Overall the phone does what I need it to do but wish it had more accessibility.
Pros: Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!
