I switched to this phone from a Blackberry and I'm not yet decided how I really feel about this phone. I miss features of the Blackberry but the screen and graphics of the Epic are much better.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just with with just 5 days with my Epic I have really begun to become very enamored with it. Love the light weight. Much lighter than last phone. Screen quality rocks! Touch response so spot on and very receptive. Still adjusting to the short battery charge. Have to keep it plugged in while at work or it will go through the full charge in just a couple of hours.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since having this phone I love the features but have had a lot of problems with having to replace the phone I'm now on the 4th one. If you get this phone buy the insurance there's a problem with the screen freezing and the internal antenna. Keep your contacts backup to a Google account as well.
Cons: Poor quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Under speed

Sales man at Sprint authorized dealer told me phone was great, and had plenty of speed, but when it came down to downloading the apps that I wanted (even the ones not used but maybe once a month) the phone became much slower and no good for games. Camera takes great shots though, wish the sensor was bigger for the built in panoramic camera. Overall once the android updates and some system updates recently the phone has gotten better, but still isnt a favorite. I would however keep it off to the side once i get my upgrade since it is good for texting with the slid out keyboard, even though either my somewhat big fingers can't hit the keys or some just don't register when going fast, and the swype is actually pretty good as well and the voice activation of things as well as voice to text..when the microphone decides to work.
Pros: Bright display, great sound
Cons: Did not meet expectations, slow, too big w/ case, data connections don't always work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Keyboard
on May 9, 2012

The reason I chose this phone over phone with similar features is that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This is a great feature. I would NEVER buy a smart phone that did not provide this. I hope Samsung keeps that in mind for the upcoming Galaxy S III.
Pros: slide-out qwerty keyboard
I would recommend this to a friend!

The battery with minimal settings and task killer barely last me my 7 hour school day. Its so frustrating... it freezes and sometimes won't let me text. Its an okay phone with apps and games and it takes great pictures but overall I would not get this if I had it all to do over/
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, battery life, freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this phone for about a month and a half now and I have had absolutely no problems with it. It's easy to use and the features are absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this phone to my family and friends!!
Great key pad, very easy to use, nice size, just right for my needs, so long as i can re-supply it's power needs. The only down side to this phone IS power useage. Have a app intalled to control un-used programs and lighting, but still it drains power much more than i think it should. Not a phone to take back into the woods, without additional batteries. Still a great value, and one that has held up to my daily abuse. ... i did go through 2 copies of this cell before my current example. Touch sceen issues. This third one has worked flawlessly.
