The samsung epic has a great looking screen. There have been constant problems with the updates samsung has released for the phone and it has never run right from day 1 going on a year now. They have just released gingerbread after a year of constant broken updates. we will see how it does on this release.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

User Friendly Keyboard

I really enjoy texting because of the keyboard on the Epic 4G. It's definitely designed for convenience.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

swype is a great feature. better camera than many others

I love swype typing. I'm still getting used to the latest upgrade, where it shows you all the possible words in a bar above the keyboard. I like how it capitalizes 'I' for me. It can even switch over to Spanish! I would have given it five stars overall if they would add French, since my hubby and I text mostly in FR.
The camera has more pixels than his iPhone, and many features of basic digital cameras: Panorama, zoom, and a variety of light settings. Takes pretty good video that I can upload to dropbox and share via email links.
Another of my favorite features is Places. Along with Sprint navigation, I always find what I'm looking for without getting lost or missing turns.

I like the design of the phone. The only drawback for me is that I cannot use this phone when I travel internationally. I had to purchase a second phone to use when I'm out of the country.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: short battery life, not compatiable internationally
