Sent for repair now twice!

Keeps freezing up and won't respond to hard reset. Sending it in now for the second time and it's only 7 months old. I like this phone when it works, but it seems to work less often than not.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had nothing but trouble with sound and video on this phone. I'm on my second one. My phone carrier replaced the first one because the speakers went out after only owning it for a few months. The sound was distorted and just awful. The new phone did the same thing not even a month after getting it. Also, the screen flickers at times when opening apps or checking accounts on it.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but not great.

This was my first Android phone. I love how I can customize (most of) it, and I love the slide out keyboard, if that's what you would prefer (vs touchscreen). The best part about the phone, is it's durable. I fly a lot, and drop it, and it doesn't have a single scratch on it. I do like the design of the phone, but that's about it. The battery is rather quickly drained, and the mobile internet is quite slow, for such a high quality phone. Since the 2.3 Update, notifications are spotty, and downloaded Apps sometimes do not work. The first time a system update does come out for the Epic, the first batch of updates are usually bad. There are a lot of kinks, and it seems as though this phone is always one step behind other Android smart phones. Overall, it's a decent phone, but not 100%. I'd give it a 75%-80% grade.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, system updates very slow, network signal, mobile internet
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had mine for about 9 months. Since then, the space bar has cracked and fell off on the slide out keyboard. Also, I've noticed that the slide out keyboard isn't recognizing when i hit a letter to type.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor slideout keyboard quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I am very pleased with my Epic. The battery life can be kind of short depending on how much you use it. The camera and display quatlity is very nice. I love the fact that it has a keyboard in addition to the full touch screen. I hate texting on a touch screen. I have had it for just over a year now and haven't had any issues yet.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, full qwerty keyboard
Cons: short battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone

Other than battery life I really like this phone.
Good features, fast processor and great screen. Also one of the few remaining phones with a keyboard. My only gripe has been battery life. Till the most recent upgrade I was only able to get 10-12 hours per charge. I suspect this is due to Sprint 3G service. After recent upgrade I am getting 1 day or so which is on par with my expectations.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, fast, keyboard
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!
