Best phone I've ever owned

This is a powerful phone. I've had two previous Android phones and this one by far outperforms the others. Screen is crisp, clear, and vibrant; I have no qualms at all about using it for a portable media device while flying. Audio quality through the stock speakers is as expected from a cell phone, but when using good quality ear-buds, or a bluetooth headset, sound is awesome. I can't say enough good things about the slide-out keyboard; very easy to use, and I have fairly large fingers. Overall, I would definitely not hesitate to buy another one.
With the apps right out of the box it's still powerful but with the android market the possibilities are pretty much endless... I've had the phone almost 3 months now and I'm still finding new things I can do with it
I have thoroughly enjoyed having this phone. On one hand, it has a great camera and a wonderful Android interface. On the other, there have been a few bugs that need to be worked out. It can be slow to respond sometimes, or even refuse to work at all. I have had the phone even refuse to end a call. And the battery life leaves much to be desired. There has also been little to no Android updates to be had. I dont understand how such a modern and up to date phone can be overlooked when it comes to simple OS updates.
i think this is a great phone and it should have an upgrade like the evo lets say a samsung epic 2 its great to have a combination af both touchscreen and keypad because people like me with big fingers sometimes its difficult to write in touchscreen keyboards pleeeease release the samsung epic 2 and keep the swype the keypad and it would b amazing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epic 4G as Wireless Access Point

Sprint's unlimited data plan, and the ability to use the Epic 4G as a wireless access point has given me a fast and reasonably priced mobile tablet when used with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I find that the speed and availability of signal is superb, and I can get 4G speeds in many areas. This is an excellent alternative to a wireless carrier's version of the tablet.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, built in keyboard
Cons: poor upgrade support
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this phone!

This phone has restored my faith in samsung. I compared a lot of phones and this one stood out from the rest. I do not regret my purchase at all. The only thing it lacks is service from Sprint. I live in a semi rural area and sometimes I get no signal. Aside from that , apps do not slow this phone down, and there are so many to choose from! Far superior to the iphone or any windows phone i have used.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, versatile, fast processing
