Insufficant battery life

I have to say that I love the design, the qwerty keyboard, the screne is nice & large. The colors are true to samsung nice & bright. The camera is fantastic. I truly would love to keep this phone but it's battery doesn't last long at all. I can't see buying a second battery or having to keep it plugged in between calls... what's the point of having a phone. I really wish they made an extended battery... Evo does.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this phone and the fast speeds on the Sprint 4G network. It is great for texting with the slide out qwerty keyboard, and brilliant and clear screen with a fastprocessor for videos, streaming content use or sharing, and so many other great features.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, qwerty keyboard, 1ghz hummingbird processor, super amoled touchscreen, android 2.2.1 froyo update, sprint id
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only had this a few days and so far its an amazing phone. I switched over from a Blackberry and needed more of a work horse. It has integrated nicely with all my work e-mails, contacts etc. The key board for me is a big plus.
Pros: Bright display, easy to use
Cons: battery like

Epic 4G

Personally I've always loved Samsung products, especially their cell phones. I used to just have regular, cheap, messaging phones, with no data plan. The Samsung Epic has a huge screen and it's very pleasing to the eye. It has a bunch of great features with millions of apps to download. The only problem this phone had was it would drop keys while you were typing a text message. This was very frustrating. This problem was fixed and it's a little better now since I updated to Android 2.2 Froyo. Basically that was the only con about this phone. Great phone in general! It's the best phone I've ever had my whole life. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, a lot of features

Truly Epic

Since my first cell phone back in the stone age (1997) i knew right away that i had discovered a new hobby, that very quickly became a passion, tech toys!! and of course, leading the pack as "Top Tech Toy", was undoubtedly my cell phone and using very little thought at all, i always have and always will, consider samsung to be in a league of its own. I hope im not the only one that remembers samsung releasing the first voice operated cellphone, the first camera phone to have a camcorder and far too many more to mention. Never the less, as much as i stand behind samsung's superior technology and revolutionary design, I am, and always will be, a tough sell for a new cell. First, i do my online spec comparisons to find out which phones are even worth looking at, as opposed to heading out blind. This last battle was between HTC's Evo & Samsung's Epic and i have to be honest, before arriving at the store, i thought HTC might have already won it. That is until i did the final test, a little contest i coined, "the side by side, function face off." No contest, the EPIC devastated the competition. Absolutely the best cell phone/smart phone i have ever had the pleasure of owning. Brilliant in every way a smart phone could be. Hats off to Samung yet again, and Im sure it wont be too long before I'm saying those words again...(Nexus S?)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

My previous phone was the Samsung Rant and even though it was not a smartphone, I was pleased with the quality of the phone and how well it lasted me up until I decided to upgrade to the Samsung Epic 4G. I have only had my Samsung Epic for about eleven hours now and I am already in love with it. I really like the design of the phone, the screen is amazing and it shows you everything! Also, I love how the phone comes with Swype and the camera on this phone is amazing. Once again, thank you Samsung for making such a great device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, excellent camera, swype
Cons: battery life
