i like the screen alot the phone is great the only thing is the battery doesnt last besides that i really like the phone
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin
Cons: battery life

The hardware is good software needs working on

I will admit the phone has its fault but it is a solid phone. Watching movies is the greatest it could replace my ipod. Its hardware from 1ghz processor to it includes a 16gb of storage makes this phone so good and appealing. What i do not like about this phone is the lack of updated software. The gps is horrible. The operating system is an old android eclair 2.1 which is not terrible however we have been promised froyo for almost 6 months now. And we did get the froyo update it was filled with more bugs. examples such as sd card not being read still no gps fix. and i also got a new problem were my external speaker stops working when you remove the and headphones. Just like my samsung blu ray play bd up5000 it seems that samsung was in a rush to release this phone where they fig they would just update the software later. Anywho Like i said the hardware with this phone is great sound quality is good data connection is good, battery life is like any other smart phone carry a charger. i would recommend this phone with a couple of warnings like the once i just spoke of above. I highly dough this phone will ever get the gingerbread update considering they still have problems getting froyo. My personal opinion based on my current and past experience with samsung, I think the epic will be the last samsung anything i will ever purchase. Next phone will def be an HTC.

Trust me I love it. Everybody knows Samsung has great products. I had the Samsung Moment. it was great when it 1st came out. Now its the Epic 4G I just love this Phone it is great all around my personnal laptop from home. My friends have the Droid X but when you put the side by side the Epic has the best picture and it is just as fast. I just wished it came with a stronger battery,only because I work in a manufactoring plant all Metal need a closer Tower.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, its just great!!!!!

Love this Epic 4G. The graphics are amazing. The features are so cool that my teenager uses it more than I do. We love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: the update removes some features.

I love my Epic. It is nicer now that it has Android 2.2. Except for the tardiness of getting the updated version of Android, this is an awesome phone. I love the slide out keyboard and use it all the time. I love all the apps that I can get for this phone. With the Android update, I can use skype and have flash, so I am happy again with my phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: tardiness in updating android to 2.2
