The power cord plugs into a stupid spot that blocks the rest of the ports. The power cord itself is so stiff that when it's plugged in it forms a large loop and gets in the way of the mouse. The track pad is so large and near the keyboard that it gets hit when I type. These 3 things are very poor design. Other than that it's just a normal laptop.
Purchased during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale for a great price. Excellent performance with Intel Ultra 5 processor, 16 MB RAM and 1 TB solid state drive. The 16 inch screen has very good resolution. The laptop is solidly built with a good selection of ports and convenient keyboard with numerical key pad. Very little dfifference in weight compared to an OmniBook 5 with similar configuration.
Laptop itself is a good product for a reasonable price. A major problem was preloaded One Drive which automatically forced cloud backups into a very small 5GB storage, which when full almost immediately caused problems opening many files. Many people do not want to put their data in the cloud, encrypted or not, as they do not trust its privacy, or else, do not want to pay for a forced upgrade to a larger storage.
when I first turned on my computer it took about 10 minutes to boot up. after the 3rd time turning it on and the downloading was completed it only takes about 30 seconds to boot up.
Beautiful, well built, well equipped, and well priced machine. Set up and personalization went very smoothly. Very comfortable keyboard. Love the overall performance. But...Keeps interrupting my work "reminding" me to set up features I don't want/need. AI seems "opt out" rather than opt in. I'm still learning. Bottom line, very favorable experience so far.
