BEST VACUUM EVER!

I bought this vacuum for the convenience of the self cleaning and I love it! I also really love the suction that it has. It is packed with great features that make this the BEST cordless vacuum I have ever owned. It also detects hidden dirt along the edges of your carpet and wood floor and has an energy efficient system. Added bonus it has a self cleaning brush roll! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is due to the weight of the vacuum. It's not super heavy, but it is hard on my wrists.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only used it a couple of times so far but it has been enough to know that I already love it. It is easy to use and really does the job. I replaced another Shark with this one and know that I will be a Shark customer for life.

I bought this vacuum in May 2026 and I used every day up to 3 times a day and it's amazing. It picks up dust and debris so easily. The brush roll spins very powerfully. And the runtime is around 20 minutes on high speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a 9 year old Shark stick vac and I love it. Decided I needed an upgrade so I purchased this wonderful power detect and I couldn’t be happier! The suction is fantastic and the auto empty is a great feature. I have several Shark products and am happy with all of them.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, still getting used to it. Don't like the heaviness on top where my crippled hands go, but i know it's the battery. Next time I will buy a cord vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprising this is quite powerful. Make sure you check the model number because not all suction in reverse. I like the strongest setting but the detect setting seems to work well.its a little delayed when it recognizes dirt but it did kick up the speed. I have used it on my concrete floors in my home and vinyl plank floors…it worked low pile carpet but I felt like I had to push and pull pretty hard…it’s supposed to auto detect the different kind of floors too…but seriously I don’t like battery powered things like this and I am thinking about buying another one! It’s light weight too…
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beyond disappointing

I had such high hopes for this vacuum. Overheats and stops working most of the times I use it. Only had a few months and isn’t even our main vacuum so its inability to spot vacuum without needing to go through a host of cleaning, checking for clogs (of which there never are), is beyond frustrating. Our house has hardwood, flagstone, and rugs and it craps out equally on all surfaces. Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with your PowerDetect Cordless. We're sorry to hear that the vacuum is overheating and shutting down after only a few months of use, especially when you've already checked for clogs and performed the recommended maintenance. We understand how important it is to have a vacuum that works reliably across different floor types, and this is not the experience we want for our customers.
We'd like the opportunity to look into this further and see how we can help. Please reach out to our team through the link below so we can troubleshoot the issue and review available options with you:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to assist you soon.
Sincerely,
