Good Headphones

The earpads are extremely soft. The audio quality is excellent and the designs (especially the ivory/brown combo) are beautiful. Everyone who I've lended my headphones to are very impressed. Seem durable from what I've seen so far. Would probably buy again.

I was doing a comparison between various models of headphones, I must say that they are good headphones very balanced from low frequencies to highs, but I was looking for a model that emphasized the low frequency range more. They work with any device, from the mp3 player to the amplifier, one thing to note is that they are comfortable, they do not make excessive pressure but if worn for a long time they warm up a little.

Old pair sounds better

I have mm400 that sounds better. The 599 lacks bass & highs are somewhat tinny. EQ doesn't help much. Guess I'll keep the old pair until I find something better.

These are excellent and balanced. Everything that is listened to is accurately represented, and any enhancement with regard to the bass or treble just adds to the experience, without overpowering any other element.
I've bought more than one pair, and I even like the color. Sennheiser should always keep this in their repertoire, or build upon it for the casual consumer. Products like this are perfect for us!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Headphones for mastering

I've been using headphones for mastering for several years. They suit me for their absolutely neutral sound and comfort. I can wear them on my head for several hours a day without any problems.

I have had these headphones for 5 years now and let me just say that they have been the best headphones I could have bought. I have used them for mainly gaming over the last 5 years but have used them for music as well and the audio is nowhere near any other headphones. I'm not exactly someone who pays attention to the audio of headphones but I remember when I first got these headphones, I noticed a very noticeable difference in sound quality. They are very comfortable on the ears and I am now looking into buying replacements for the earpads as they have finally started to show true wear and tear but that's to be expected when used for 5 years continuously. If this pair ever happens to give out, I will gladly but new ones from this company.
