Bought for my son who confirms they are very nice headphones. He's not had the chance to wear them a lot yet but has said they are very comfortable and the sound is really good - listening to one of his favourite songs, he heard notesand tones that he'd not heard through other headphones so is very impressed. Says these are by far the best headphones he's ever had and if you've never had a decent pair, these will "blow you away". I think he likes them.

Replaced my old HD 525s

After nearly a decade of use, my HD 525s called it quits. I knew I needed another pair of Sennheiser for the unmatched comfort, and the HD 599s do not disappoint. 6+ hour gaming sessions and the headphones don't cause me any discomfort at all. Sound quality and build quality are both excellent as well. You can't go wrong with a good pair of Sennheiser.

The tasteful option

Not obnoxiously gamer or audiophile looking, it doesn’t light up like a pride parade or look and feel like a tanker’s helmet on your head. Nonetheless this surprisingly lightweight and appealingly designed headset delivers the best performance out of desktop headphones I’ve ever had, which isn’t many. But nonetheless these are certainly worth the money.

It might just be that I haven’t been using em that long and they feel tight but they are kinda tight and I have a small head

First pair of audiophile headphones

It's a very slick and comfortable pair of headphones. They sound great, and I have an easier time listening (paying close attention) to the rhythm section of my favorite bands; it is really fun. I would recommend these to folks, especially folks, like me, who have not ventured anywhere close to audiophile-quality headphones before.

I haven't heard music so crisp and clean like this on any of my other headsets. Can't wait to upgrade these to the next set.
