I dont know why Samsung cant get the issues fixed, but the Flip 3, Flip 5, and now Flip 6 I bought have all run into issues related to the screen. The only one that has any physical damage was the Flip 5, and that was a small dent to the hinge. If you buy this expecting anything more than a conversation piece, youll be mistaken.

Will break and samsung won't fix it

Really wanted to love this phone but then the inner flex screen went black and won't turn on. And samsung support says they no longer offer the Z assurance guarantee so I am unable to get it fixed

Disappointing quality

My husband has had this phone replaced twice for the same problem...screen separates and cracks at fold after only a few months. Phone was never dropped...huge disappointment for such an expensive phone. Tried to trade for a different phone after happening for the 2nd time and samsung denied this request. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE...TERRIBLE QUALITY.

Dont do it!

Don't do it! Don't be tempted by this shiny, innovative, nostalgic flip! Don't get me wrong, while it worked the phone was fantastic. I got mine late September, while it felt sturdier than the flip 5, I took care of this phone with extra caution. No drops, damages, liquids, nothing. All of a sudden the main screen went black and is now inoperable only after less than 3 months! Two other friends had purchased the same phone and also had issues only a month after - I didn't believe it at first but realizing now that Samsung is having major issues with this model. As much as I loved the cool flip feature, I will be going back to a traditional (non-flip/folding) phone because this shouldn't be happening only after a couple months of use.

If your phone or tablet won't boot past the logo screen or is unresponsive, verify that it has only been charged using the supplied USB cable and an approved Samsung wall adapter (sold separately).
